World Wide Web

There is a difference between World Wide Web and also the Internet.
When you do not have an Internet, then you will not be able to get access to the World Wide Web.
Not to admit that since I know how to use the Internet, it really helps me a lot.
When there is some information that I have no idea where to search for
Then I would pop up to the Internet and start typing http://www.google.com/ and click
And here it goes
Whatever I want to find will reach to me.

But there is also this disadvantages that we have to face.
Since the existence of all the social network like Facebook, Twitter and also YouTube.
It actually takes time away from a lot of things.
For example, homework, family and sometimes love.
Well of course all this depends on how you manage your own time and also your addiction towards it.
You have to know that Internet and WWW actually do help us a lot in so many ways
And what we have to do is to appreciate it and not to misused it.
This will only turns out to be something bad.

Bear in mind that every invention do have their pros and cons
It just depends on us whether to appreciate in or to destroy it.

Studying mass communication has an advantages.
You can go a lots of interesting places like RTM, TV8, NTV 7 and also ASTRO.
You can meet a lot of people like Harith Iskandar, Jaclyn Victor, Prem and also Karen Kong.
And last week I just have this very cool talk from Fly FM which is one of my favourite radio station.
They come to our school and they give us talk and also lots and lots of interesting prizes.

All About Me.

During my Primary 3, I named myself Josephine.
It is the name of a hot girls in my favourite movie st that time.
Then I changed to Melanie when I am in Primary 6.
This is because my friend who has the same name looks pretty.
Until one day, when someone asked me,
" Why don't you like the name "Winnie" ? "
And I am not able to answered it.

And this is me!!!
My name is Lim Win Nie or you all can call me Winnie or you can add "The Pooh" if you like.
I have no idea since when I started to like my name and I am proud that my parents gave me this name.
You see, its a surname with an English name!!
Great isn't ??!

They are my parents. And they are still very sweet.
How I wished I can have a relationship like that.

And this is Edward.
He is my boyfriend.
We've been together for six years and will be celebrating our anniversary soon.
As I have said earlier, I hope that we can be as sweet as my parents.

This is where I have my Diploma in Mass Communication majoring in Public Relation.
At that time I some sort of having a misconceptions about PR and has taken PR as my major and end up regretting it.
But still I am able to graduate with a Merit!!

After graduating from Diploma, I've planned to further my studies for Degree.
And I choose Segi University College as my choice as it is more affordable.
So I am here now in my second semester and I have two very good friends.
Glad to know them in the college.

Surprisingly I know this girl before I even came to Segi.
I was looking for the best University to settle in and my Dad passed me this number saying that is his friend's daughter who is looking for University too.
So I called her and talked on the phone for a while and saved her number.
On Orientation Day, fate brought us together and we exchanged number and we already have our number saved in our phone!!!
She is a very talented girl and also a very good leader.
She lead the groups very well in almost all the assignments and we all get fabulous marks.

And this is another good friend of mine.
A gentlemen as well as a almost 4 flat students.
He is a good listener and a good joker and I like hanging out with him.
He always make us laugh.

I hope that our friendship will last forever.
I love you guys!!!

This two weeks I have been studying a lot of new things in this very new semester.
The media in the olden days and also in this new era.
The history of Internet, television and also lots of other social media.
For me, it is important for us to have even a little knowledge on the technology nowadays as it really helps us a lot.
Even on the blog I am writting now, this wouldn't exist if I do not have the knowledge on how to use Internet and how to run a computer.
When you have that little bit knowledge of technology, you can use your mobile phone to send a message to your friend.
When you have that little bit knowledge of technology, you can use your computer and Internet to send an email to your friends living overseas.
Everything just need a little bit of effort to learn that little bit of knowledge that can provide you that little bit of comfortable in your life.
Do not take for granted for what technology is as it build up what you are living in today.
